Scott County Health Department staff can help connect with the following health insurance programs:

• Presumptive Eligibility – temporary Medicaid health insurance that starts the same day that a person applies, while they wait for ongoing coverage.
• Hawki Insurance – free or low-cost health insurance for the children and teenagers of eligible Iowa families.​​
