Scott County, Iowa notice of appointment of Board of Supervisor 

Pursuant to Iowa Code Section 69.14A, the Scott County Board of Supervisors Vacancy Committee (Committee) consisting of the County Auditor, County Treasurer and County Recorder intend to make an appointment to fill the Scott County Board of Supervisor vacancy created by the resignation of Tony Knobbe.

This meeting will take place on Thursday, January 26th at 2:00 p.m.  at the Scott County Administrative Center located at 600 West Fourth Street, Davenport Iowa, 52801 in the Board Room.

Interested candidates may submit their resume and cover letter to [email protected] before January 24th.

Following the appointment, the electors of Scott County have the right to file a petition requiring the vacancy be filled by special election. The appointment will be made during a special meeting of the Committee.

The meeting information will be posted on the Scott County website (scottcountyiowa.gov) and at the Scott County Administration Building located at 600 West Fourth Street, Davenport Iowa, 52801 at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
