The educational component of the program is provided by Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency.  If the youth is enrolled and attending school, he/she completes assignments assigned by their home school.  in cases where the youth is not enrolled in a school program, the teacher assigns individual diagnostic or prescriptive instructional work which parallels public school curriculum.
