Any person selling cigarettes, tobacco products, vapor products, or alternative nicotine products must have a valid retail permit.

Businesses located outside corporate city limits in Scott County, Iowa seeking this permit should make application through the Auditor's Office who, in turn, will present the application to the Board of Supervisors for review and approval prior to forwarding the application to the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division of the State of Iowa.

  • Take or mail the completed application to the county Auditor. Make checks payable to "Scott County Treasurer".
