Sandbag Supplies for Residents in Unincorporated Scott County

Scott County EMA has placed sand and empty sandbags at the Pleasant Valley Fire Station starting Friday, March 6, 2020.

These supplies are for residents living outside city limits. Bring a shovel to fill your own sandbags.

Scott County Emergency Management Agency is encouraging all residents not to delay their flood preparations, and continue to stay aware of changing river levels.

The Mississippi River levels continue to rise over the coming weeks. While the flooding impact, timing, and river heights aren’t clear, Mississippi River levels are on the rise. According to the National Weather Service, the Mississippi River could reach flood stages sometime between March 15th and March 25th, 2020.
