How can I find out more about "Children in the Middle"?
"Children in the Middle" is a four-hour parenting education program providing education and affirmation for parents, with the primary focus on children's needs at all ages. Classes are conducted by qualified professionals. Attendance is required for both parties in dissolution of marriage in Iowa. Please do not bring your children to the class.

How can I find out more about “Transparenting”?
“Transparenting” is a four hour educational group offered twice monthly at Marriage and Family Counseling Service in Rock Island, Illinois.
“Transparenting” is a nationally recognized program that is offered parents who are experiencing divorce. According to the Journal of Divorce and Remarriage (1997), approximately 96% of Family Court Judges surveyed said the program “serves to lessen the negative effects of divorce on children”.
The Transparenting Program stresses to parents the critical role they play in their child’s ability to successfully adjust to family transitions, and most importantly, helps parents view the process from their child’s perspective.
Completion of this program content is required by the Court. Marriage and Family Counseling Service has been approved to provide the Transparenting Program by both the Seventh Judicial District for the State of Iowa, and the 14th Judicial Circuit for the State of Illinois. Upon successful completion, participants will be provided with a Certificate of Completion.
