Summit Cemetery is located in the N.W. 1/4 of the N.E. 1/4 and the N.E. 1/4 of the N.W. 1/4 of Sec. 28, T. 79 N., R. 4 E. of the 5th P.M. Lincoln Township. The Cemetery was under the ownership of the Summit Presbyterian Church. The Church building was sold to the Scott County Historical Society and is now maintained by that Society. The cemetery is now under the jurisdiction of the Summit Cemetery Association.
