Flood Donations
The Salvation Army has transitioned the Flood Donation Center for individuals donating items and for individuals looking to receive items to Salvation Army locations. The locations will serve residents of Scott and Rock Island Counties. A valid Driver’s License or State Issued ID is needed to pick up items.
*Hours of operation will be 9am-5pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Disaster Assistance - FEMA
Impacted Scott County residents may be eligible to apply for the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Disaster Assistance Program which proivdes assistance to those whose homes are damaged, unsafe, or inaccessbile because of the recent flooding prior to May 17. Application deadline is July 1, 2019.

Disaster Assistance - SBA
The U.S. Small Business Administration and the Iowa Small Business Development Center has established a SBA Business Recovery Center in Davenport to provide a wide range of services to businesses impacted by severe storms and flooding that began March 12, 2019. SBA customer service representatives will meet with business owners to explain SBA disaster loans, answer questions about the loan program, explain the application process and help business owners complete loan applications. The deadline to apply is July 1, 2019 for property damage and December 23, 2019 for economic injury.

Disaster Assistance Services - Community Action of Eastern Iowa
Community Action of Eastern Iowa’s Disaster Assistance Services may be able to help if your household has been affected by the 2019 Mississippi Floods. There are no income guidelines for case management services. Financial recovery services up to $5,000 may be available to households at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Disaster Legal Assistance - Iowa Legal Aid
Iowa Legal Aid provides free legal services to low-income clients in Scott and Clinton Counties who have been affected by disasters, including the recent flooding. The flyer provides examples of the types of legal issues the office can assist with.
To apply for services, persons can walk-in during normal office hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.), can call 1-800-532-1275 during intake hours (Monday through Friday from 9 to 11 am and 1:30 to 3:30 pm except Thursday afternoons only for emergencies), and can apply online at iowalegalaid.org. Disaster Counseling Assistance
If you, family member, friend, or neighbor are feeling overwhelmed with dealing with the effects of the flood, free help is available. The Iowa Concern 24-hour line at 1-800-447-1985 is available for impacted individuals and the Iowa Concern staff can connect you with Project Recovery Iowa services or one of their stress counselors can talk with you at any time of the day. Potable Water Distribution
Residents who are currently impacted with the current flooding, and don’t have access to clean, potable water, are eligible to received donated bottled water. See Flood Donation Center above.
